Billing

True To You Therapy offers clinic-based occupational, physical and speech therapy services for private pay. The private pay model allows us the flexibility and freedom to uphold our standard of “true to you therapy” for you and your family without restrictions and limitations set by insurance companies. These limitations include parameters on length, frequency and duration of services.

​As we are private pay, a superbill can be provided upon request if you are seeking reimbursement directly from your insurance company. We will provide you with a superbill (which is a detailed insurance reimbursement receipt) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. **Insurance reimbursement rates vary depending on your individual insurance plan, benefits and deductible. We recommend you call your insurance company directly to familiarize yourself with your reimbursement for services** It is the caregiver's responsibility to understand their coverage and benefits. Refunds will not be provided. Further, there is NO guarantee that your insurance company will provide reimbursement.

*If your child has Medicaid, unfortunately, we are unable to provide a superbill for services and therapy would be an out-of-pocket expense. 

Referrals

A referral from the pediatrician is still required for services despite our private pay model. You can have your pediatrician fax the referral to (570) 227-7854 or email it to our HIPAA secure email: info@truetoyoutherapyservices.com. We must have a referral prior to your child’s initial evaluation.

  • How Much Do Services Cost?

    Initial evaluation $100: Comprehensive occupational therapy, speech therapy or physical therapy evaluations. Used to identify specific areas of strengths and areas of need. This includes a written report and plan of care as well as 1 hour of evaluation time one-on-one with the therapist.

    Ongoing sessions vary depending on the time duration recommended by your therapist at the evaluation. All sessions consist of one-on-one treatment and support for you and your child to help achieve developmental milestones, gain skills and foster independence:

    -$36 per 30-minute session

    -$54 per 45-minute session

    -$72 per 1 hour session

    -Virtual/teletherapy session $60 for 45 minutes or $43 for 30 minutes: using HIPAA secure zoom platform

    *we also offer package prices if you are in need of multiple service

  • What Forms of Payment Do You Take?

    Payment is due on the day of service. Payment methods accepted include cash, major credit and debit cards, and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Spending Accounts (HSA).

  • Are Teletherapy or Virtual Services an Option?

    Virtual therapy sessions using a HIPAA secure zoom platform are available for those living in the state of Pennsylvania. Although we at True To You Therapy, LLC feel that in-person services facilitate optimal opportunities for growth and development, nothing in life is ever optimal all the time! Whether your child is medically fragile and cannot get to our center consistently, your work schedule is inconsistent making it difficult for scheduling regular sessions, or maybe something came up preventing you from being able to make your in-person appointment- teletherapy is always as option! We provide 45 minutes of virtual therapy utilizing a HIPAA compliant zoom platform for $60 or 30 minutes of virtual therapy utilizing a HIPAA compliant zoom platform for $43.

  • How Do I Know if My Child Needs Therapy Services?

    If you have any concerns regarding your child’s skills or development, but you’re not sure if they warrant services, we offer a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation. We can discuss your child’s current skill level as well as your concerns and determine then and there if a formal evaluation is right for you!

  • Why is the Therapist Just Playing with My Child?

    In pediatrics, therapy looks a lot like play- and that is 100% on purpose. A child’s main method of learning is actually through play. So while you may be watching, thinking “well, I can just play with my child at home.” Yes, you absolutely can, however we play with a purpose in therapy. In sessions, we select activities that we know your child will enjoy and incorporate function and skill development into them. The overall goal of play-based therapy is not only to build skills, but to make sure your child enjoys the therapy process!

  • What is the Pricing for Consultation Services?

    A consultation is meant to provide a parent/caregiver with support and better their understanding of the IEP process. The consultation can consist of the following services at a rate of $40 per 30-minutes:

    -Comprehensive review of the child’s IEP and other applicable documents

    -A 1:1 meeting to help you understand the IEP process

    Additional services can include attendance at an IEP meeting as your child’s outpatient service provider (for active patients) and/or attendance at an IEP meeting as a note-taker (for both active and non-current patients). Rates for these services vary:

    - $60.00 per 30 minutes for in person attendance

    -$45.00 per 30 minutes for virtual attendance
